Attaching a han-eri 💖
Even though I can’t sew on buttons, I manage to attach a han-eri.
The reason is… Tomorrow, in order to stand out even a little bit
for my fan activities, I’ll be going in a kimono (lol).

“Han-eri” refers to a part of the collar in traditional
Japanese clothing such as kimono and wafuku.
Typically, the collar of a kimono is circular when viewed
from the front, and the circular part of the collar is called “han-eri.”
Han-eri is predominantly used in women’s kimono to
enhance the beauty of the collar and tighten the overall
appearance of the attire. The materials and designs
vary, and different han-eri may be used depending on
the season or occasion. Han-eri is considered an essential
accessory that plays a significant role in altering the
impression and atmosphere of the kimono.
